I’m going greek!!
August31
So like usual I was running late for work on Friday and I was soo hungry. I didnt have much time so I decided on take-out. Boy did I get lucky when I chose Daphne’s greek cafe. I checked out the menu, lots of great options to choose from. A $1 menu which had hummus and other dips, to salads, sandwiches, gyros. The staff was very friendly and clearly trained to offer the lunch meal deal, which I opposed politely. I also liked how they served their dine-in guest on real plates and silverware. Eventually, after examining the menu, I decided on the veggie falafel gyro. Yummy, for just $5 and some change this little gyro gives the subways footlong a run its money. Check out the pics!
This little guy was filled with ample tomato slices, onions, hummus, lettuce, and 3 nicely sized falafel patties. The falafel was awesome in texture and for the price flavored well beyond surprise. I ate a little more than half and I was totally full. My only suggestion would have been to offer a spicy sauce, instead of the mild pickled tartar-ish sauce that was served with it. All in all this was the best fast food I have had in quiet some time.
