Ms. Piggy Is Good!!

So this was just your average Thursday night I was home early and Boyfriedtard had to work late so I had some time to come up with a magical meal to please the masses! I seasoned the pork in various herbs and seared it with some garlic. I put that girl in the pan and baked her up along with some extra chunks of garlic, carrots, and onions. I mashed some garlic and herbed potatoes and added a little of my super-special secret ingredient….blue cheese! And that was that. Enjoy! xoxo

Make It Quickly!!

So I was in a quick rush when I made this tasty dish. It was more or less a skillet of sorts. I had some left over zuchinni and eggplant, black and kidney beans and threw in some jalapeno bread for good measure. I tossed that all around in a hot pan with some olive oil and finished it with a couple splashes of red wine vineger which reduced quite nicely. Sprinkled an aged cheddar on top broiled it to crisp it up and topped it with a paoched egg. The mixture of the runny egg and the vinegrette tasted very nice. Sorry about the sloppy photo I was in a bit of a rush. Enjoy. xoxo

So on this lazy Friday morning I decided to try something different. A twist on a recipe I saw on the world wide web. The original recipe called for hash browns and taco seasoning, I had frozen french fries, cumin and chili powder. I think it worked out well. Enjoy. xoxo

Ensalada y…alcohol

Just your average night at our place chips and guacamole, sexy steak salad and citrus martinis! What makes my salad so sexy you ask…well I’ll tell you if you promise not to tell, its got a homemade vinaigrette with garlic onions and dijon. What the heck kind of word is dijon anyway? Why don’t they just call it snooty mustard. Remember that commercial with the guy in the limo and he rolls down the window and says, “Pardon me do you have any grey poupon??” Haha Enjoy! xoxxo
